Requirements
- Read and comprehend documentation written at a nationally accepted high school level.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a secure corrections environment.
- Possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Lift items weighing up to sixty (60) pounds to a height of 54 inches
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Responsible for efficient operations of commissary services at Henry County Corrections Center
- Distributing individual commissary orders to inmates in assigned housing locations.
- Documenting any shortages or mishaps with commissary orders in a clear fashion.
- Properly communicating with the Site Manager and facility to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist Site Manager in keeping a clean work area and exceptional level of organization.
- Facilitate commissary pickup and delivery with the truck drivers as well as Inmate Worker Supervisors.
- Represent Kimble’s Corrections in a positive manner at all times.
- Ensure efficiency and client satisfaction amongst the commissary department.
- Adhere to all security regulations and procedures outlined by the assigned facility.
- Carry out any duties assigned by management
