About The Position

The Part-Time Coach-Mentor at Soccer Without Borders Colorado plays a vital role in supporting newcomer refugee, asylee, and immigrant youth through soccer. This position focuses on direct service programming, engaging youth in practices, games, and community events while fostering an inclusive environment that promotes personal growth and social integration. The Coach-Mentor will also assist in program support by communicating the impact of programming to funders and supporters.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR Certification.
• First Aid Certification.
• Experience in sports coaching.
• Ability to communicate in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with newcomer youth and families to deliver quality programming.
• Design and facilitate practices, games, league play, and team-building activities.
• Create an inclusive and safe space for all youth to learn and grow.

• Support youth and families in overcoming barriers to participation.
• Monitor and report activities and attendance to communicate program impact to funders.
