Minnehaha County Safe Home invites you to apply for a Part-Time Client Support Technician. Safe Home is a 33-unit supportive housing program designed to provide individuals experiencing long-term homelessness and alcohol dependence with permanent housing opportunities, intensive case management, and access to additional supportive services. Safe Home is a high-bred of an evidence-based ‘Housing First' concept that validates by providing housing to the most chronically homeless residents of the community, the overall costs of community, emergency services are reduced dramatically. Flexible Scheduling: Perfect for those who are dependable and seeking extra income weekend overnight shifts offer flexibility without interfering with your weekday commitments. Engaging Variety: Juggle a variety of different tasks - from welcoming guests, monitoring security cameras and answering phones, to preparing meals and handling the behind-the-scenes responsibilities to keep the facility running smoothly. Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED plus one year general office or security work.
  • Must be age 21 or older at the time of hiring.
  • Experience working in an environment that requires critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment background process.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with chemically dependent and/or homeless individuals.

Responsibilities
