About The Position

La Vaquita Flea Market is looking for a motivated Cleaner to join our team in the Pendergrass, GA area. This is an entry-level position and first-time job seekers are encouraged to apply!

Requirements

Positive attitude and willingness to work in a team environment.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
Must have weekend and holiday availability (16-18 hrs weekly)
Must be 16 years or older to apply. Applicants under 18 must provide permission as applicable by law.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a cleaning agency or facility
Experience performing outdoor cleaning (i.e., sweeping, sweeping trucks, mowing, etc.)
Reliable transportation
Ability to handle physical workload (i.e., standing, walking, bending, squatting, crouching, crouching continuously for extended periods of time)
Ability to work in all weather conditions including but not limited to snow and rain (shoe covers, boots, hand warmers, etc.)

Responsibilities

Dusting and cleaning all surface areas, tables, benches, walls, and other fixtures as necessary.
Perform general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping of floors.
Using vacuuming equipment; vacuum and clean carpets, perform further treatments such as shampoo or stain-removal as needed.
Disposing of trash from bins and containers.
Scrubbing sinks, basins, and toilets in private and public bathrooms.
Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
Maintaining the upkeep of all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products.
Ensuring safe & sanitary storage and care of products.
Keeping all public spaces neat and tidy.
Reporting repairs and replacements needed when encountered on the job.
Assist Cleaning Team supervisors as deemed necessary.
