About The Position

Penn State Harrisburg's School of Science, Engineering, and Technology invites applications for a part-time faculty opening in its Civil Engineering & Technology programs effective August 2025. The successful candidate is expected to teach undergraduate courses in one or more of these areas: Civil Engineering (Structural, Environmental, Water Resources, Transportation, Construction), Statics, Mechanics of Materials, Surveying, Graphic Communications.

Requirements

• M.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
• Relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Ph.D. degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in Civil Engineering and related areas.
• Develop course materials and assessments.
• Engage with students to enhance their learning experience.
