We offer solutions in these key areas: ACTIVITIES, CHORES, NUTRITION, OUTREACH AND WELLNESS. What you will be doing: The Chore Worker will be working with the Facility and Chore Services Director to complete work requests. This position will determine what materials are needed, picking up the materials, scheduling the time needed, and determine what chores need completed while working with the Supervisor. Complete minor home repairs, such as carpentry, electrical and plumbing. Perform yard work, major cleaning, mowing, leaf raking, bush trimming, painting, snow removal, etc. Must be willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions. Manage volunteer work crews for Days of Caring, County Trustees, and other similar events. Communicate to the Facility and Chore Services Director any addition or subtraction to work orders. Maintain work orders and keep track of hours and expenses for each client. Report any potential work site hazards. Make note of any mental or health risks the clients may be unknowingly experiencing and inform the Chore Manager. Assume any other duties as needed and schedule chore jobs in a cost-effective manner.
