Requirements

• Bilingual preferred
• Customer service skills
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience with children
• Child Development Associate Certification (preferred)
• Entry level, under 1 year of experience
• Must pass drug test
• Must pass child care background check
• Must take courses to be licensed for Child Care in Nevada within 90 days
• Great speaking skills to communicate effectively with parents
• Willingness to work with ages from 6 weeks to 5 years
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Extended periods of time sitting on the floor

Responsibilities

• Check children in and out
• Give bottles to infants
• Feed solid foods as age appropriate
• Change diapers as needed
• Soothe infants by singing to and cuddling them
• Supervise infants on the floor as they play with age appropriate toys
• Play with toddlers and preschoolers
• Lead toddler and preschooler activities
• Put infants in cribs for nap time
• Ensure play, sleep and changing areas are kept clean
• Clean toys at end of day
