About The Position
As a Part Time CDL Delivery Driver at Lowe's, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive their orders in a timely and efficient manner. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service, as you will be the face of Lowe's during deliveries. You will be responsible for planning delivery activities, loading and unloading merchandise, and ensuring that all deliveries comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Your day-to-day tasks will include inspecting products before loading, verifying invoices, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of delivery vehicles. You will also be expected to communicate effectively with customers regarding their orders and delivery schedules, ensuring a positive experience at every touchpoint. In addition to your delivery responsibilities, you will be tasked with maintaining a safe and secure work environment. This includes conducting daily safety reviews, adhering to safety requirements, and reporting any security risks. You will operate various store equipment as needed and may be called upon to assist with other duties as assigned. Your role is vital in upholding Lowe's commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence, making sure that every delivery is executed smoothly and safely.
