About The Position

The position is for a part-time P&D Driver responsible for transporting, loading, and unloading freight in a productive, safe, and claims-free manner between Service Centers and customers. The role requires performing pre and post-trip inspections on the tractor and trailer, properly documenting all freight control processes, and maintaining the cleanliness of the company vehicle. Drivers will also assist customers in preparing shipping papers and interact with both external and internal customers. The job involves safely operating a forklift when needed and participating in training and improvement programs. Flexibility in work schedules and adherence to operational procedures is essential.

Requirements

• At least 23 years of age.
• At least 18 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tank Endorsement.
• Valid DOT Physical/Medical Card.
• No DUI or citation/conviction for reckless operations in the past 3 years.
• Less than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Basic math skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Transport, load, and unload freight between Service Centers and customers.
• Perform pre and post-trip inspections on the tractor and trailer.
• Document all freight control processes accurately.
• Read and understand maps, road signs, and shipping papers.
• Affix correct placards to tractor/trailer when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness of the company vehicle.
• Assist customers in preparation of shipping papers.
• Interact and converse with external/internal customers.
• Safely operate a forklift to unload/load products when needed.
• Participate in training and improvement programs.
• Be available for irregular work schedules and assignments.
• Adhere to operational procedures and guidelines.

Benefits
