The Part-Time Call Center Agent at CEC Entertainment is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests of Chuck E. Cheese. This role involves taking incoming calls, responding to inquiries about birthday parties and fundraising campaigns, and maintaining a high level of service while documenting interactions accurately. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends, to meet business needs.

  • Take incoming telephone calls from Chuck E. Cheese guests and deliver scripted or non-scripted messages.
  • Respond appropriately to guest objections and questions.
  • Deliver accurate descriptions of services regarding birthday parties and fundraising campaigns.
  • Record each call by documenting status and comments in the appropriate database or platform.
  • Maintain a high level of service and strive to exceed performance targets.
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with team members.
  • Promote and maintain a positive, professional image.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor or corporate management team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some post high school education desirable.
  • 1 year of customer service, administrative, and/or sales experience required.
  • Call center experience is a plus.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Basic computer skills including typing (35 wpm), data entry, and Internet navigation.
  • Basic use of standard office equipment such as telephone and computer.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a sales mentality.
  • Ability to interpret information and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
  • Good judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines and productivity goals.
  • Ability to work under pressure and cope with stress effectively.
  • Experience in a call center environment.
