About The Position

The Part-Time Bookkeeper role includes payroll preparation, accounts payable, and financial recordkeeping tasks. This is a hands-on, operational bookkeeping role with defined processes and predictable weekly cycles. You will provide financials for management and our CPA.

Requirements

  • Bookkeeping experience required (HVAC or construction a plus)
  • Payroll preparation experience required
  • Strong QuickBooks Desktop skills
  • Organized, accurate, and deadline-driven

Responsibilities

  • Prepare weekly payroll information
  • Coordinate with our third-party payroll company for processing, review, and recording of payroll information.
  • Manage Accounts Payable using an existing payment-prioritization process
  • Track Accounts Receivable and identify overdue invoices
  • Enter, reconcile, and review transactions in QuickBooks Desktop
  • Verify financial data from our Field Service Management (FSM) software as recorded to the general ledger
  • Maintain organized financial records for CPA review
  • Basic financial reporting as needed
