About The Position

STRATA7 Technology is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting operations and support financial reporting. This position is ideal for an experienced bookkeeper who thrives in a flexible, remote role and wants to contribute to a growing technology company.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience (preferred).
  • QuickBooks Online Certification (QBO) – highly preferred.
  • Understanding of payroll processes and tax compliance .
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and professional integrity.
  • Comfortable working in a remote, cloud-based environment .

Nice To Haves

  • QuickBooks Online Advanced Certification – a plus for candidates with experience in complex reconciliations and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage cash flow, process check runs, and electronic payments 3–5 times per week.
  • Perform reconciliations 1–2 times per month to ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Facilitate payroll processing through a third-party provider and ensure tax filings are accurate and timely.
  • Reconcile QuickBooks with billing and invoicing systems.
  • Close the books monthly and provide management reports by the 15th of each month.
  • Support year-end closing activities and prepare IRS Form 1099s in compliance with federal requirements.
