Part-Time Board Operator
About The Position
Eagle Communications in Hutchinson, KS is currently hiring a part-time board operator. This position will monitor the on-air status, commercial log and programming schedule for our local radio stations. Primary duties will include engineering the audio broadcasts of remote sports broadcasts, including airing play-by-play coverage of Hutchinson Community College Blue Dragon Football and Basketball games, as well as Hutchinson High School Salthawk Football and Basketball games. Board operators facilitate the on-air broadcasts by controlling the live audio feed from the remote broadcast locations, and managing the airing of local commercial and other programming during the game broadcasts.
Requirements
- Candidates will be available for Friday nights and Saturday afternoons during football season as well as weeknights during basketball season.
- This position is open to all applicants 16 years of age and older.
- The selected candidate will be required to pass a criminal history background check and motor vehicle check.
