About The Position

The Penn State Berks Continuing Education Department is searching for part-time help to support the development of entrepreneurship programming through the Berks LaunchBox. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred. We are looking for an experienced entrepreneur to give back to the community: Help mentor new startups and guide them with steps to move their idea forward. Teach workshops for entrepreneurs on skills they need to succeed. Create social media posts. Represent the LaunchBox in leading various community partnerships. Work 8 day and evening hours in person and remotely at the Berks LaunchBox (days and times to be decided based on the successful applicant's schedule). Additional jobs based on the successful applicant's strengths and abilities.

Requirements

• Experience in starting a business and with program coordination.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and computer skills.
• Strong connections in the Berks County Community.
• Ability to be innovative, creative, and adaptable.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on tasks.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
