Anticipated Vacancy ~ Part-time Behaviorist Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree Master's degree from an accredited institution in Behavior Analysis, Clinical Psychology, Emotionally Disabled, Behavior Psychology, Social Work or related field Experience as a Behaviorist in an Educational setting (preferred) Board certification as a behavior analyst or assistant behavior analyst Strong understanding of the principles of applied behavior analysis Experience conducting functional behavioral assessments Main duties will include: Data collection and assessment of targeted behaviors, creation and implementation of strategies to change behavior Educate, train and support staff in utilizing appropriate interventions and behavior management techniques Participate in the IEP process, including the development of Behavior Intervention Plans Seek input and maintain effective communication with classroom teachers and paras Develop and implement skill acquisition plans that teach functional skills Provide crisis intervention support to students and staff Develop and manage a data collection vehicle that reflects individual student progress on identified target behaviors Provide coordination and consultation to staff in the implementation of BIPS and program development that incorporates ABA principles and practices Experience/ training with: Emergency safety interventions Students with behavioral disabilities ABC Data collection Applied Behavioral Analysis Mandatory Criminal background check
