About The Position
The Part-Time Behavior Support Specialist position at Bayes Achievement Center Inc. involves providing care, educational and life skills training, and supervision to students with special needs in both teaching homes and classroom settings. The position is part-time, requiring three days of work per week, which may include holidays and weekends. Morning and evening shifts are available, allowing for flexibility in scheduling. The primary responsibilities include assisting classroom teachers in the implementation and evaluation of educational goals, monitoring and assisting clients with self-care, and developing activities that promote client independence. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and possess excellent communication skills, patience, a positive attitude, and flexibility. The role demands effective decision-making skills and the ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment, whether working independently or as part of a team.
