About The Position

The Part Time Auction Support Specialist position at Cox Automotive involves working approximately 9-12 hours per week, specifically on a Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday schedule. The role requires utilizing the AS400 system to record lane and Simulcast bid amounts, entering customer data, processing sold units, and verifying/entering lights. The specialist will work virtually with the auctioneer to ensure that system information accurately represents the vehicle and verify the vehicle run order. Additional responsibilities include operating a monitor virtually, reviewing Simulcast bids, providing arbitration and vehicle announcements to support the auctioneer, and handling communications regarding late titles. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Generally less than 2 years of experience.
• Effective communication skills.
• Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to remain focused and composed during fast-paced sale-day activities.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear.
• Ability to lift 1-10 pounds.
• Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the AS400 system to record lane and Simulcast bid amounts.
• Enter customer data and process all sold units.
• Verify and enter lights.
• Work with auctioneer virtually to ensure accurate representation of vehicle information.
• Verify vehicle run order to ensure appropriate vehicle is being keyed and sold.
• Operate monitor virtually and review Simulcast bids.
• Provide arbitration and other vehicle announcements to support auctioneer.
• Call and email on late titles.
• Utilize Salesforce for title absent support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
