About The Position

Cox Automotive is seeking a Virtual Block Specialist I to join our Vehicle Operations team. This part-time position requires approximately 9-12 hours of work per week, specifically on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The role involves utilizing the AS400 system to record lane and Simulcast bid amounts, entering customer data, processing sold units, and verifying lights. The specialist will work virtually with an auctioneer to ensure accurate representation of vehicle information and verify vehicle run orders. Additional responsibilities include providing arbitration and vehicle announcements to support the auctioneer, as well as handling late title communications via calls and emails. The position may also involve using Salesforce for title absent support and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Generally less than 2 years of experience.
• Effective communication skills.
• Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to remain focused during fast-paced sale-day activities.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear.
• Ability to lift 1-10 pounds.
• Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the AS400 system to record lane and Simulcast bid amounts.
• Enter customer data and process all sold units.
• Verify and enter lights.
• Work with auctioneer virtually to ensure accurate system information.
• Verify vehicle run order for appropriate vehicle keying and selling.
• Operate monitor virtually and review Simulcast bids with auctioneer.
• Provide arbitration and vehicle announcements to support auctioneer.
• Call and email on late titles.
• Utilize Salesforce for title absent support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
