About The Position

The Part-Time Auction Support Specialist position at Cox Automotive involves working approximately 9-12 hours per week, specifically on a Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday schedule. The role requires utilizing the AS400 system to record lane and Simulcast bid amounts, entering customer data, processing sold units, and verifying/entering lights. The specialist will work virtually with the auctioneer to ensure that system information accurately represents the vehicle and verify the vehicle run order. Additional responsibilities include operating a monitor virtually, providing arbitration and vehicle announcements to support the auctioneer, and handling communications regarding late titles. The position may also involve using Salesforce for title absent support and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Generally less than 2 years of experience.
• Effective communication skills.
• Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to remain focused and composed during fast-paced sale-day activities.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear.
• Ability to lift 1-10 pounds.
• Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to read, write, and speak in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the AS400 system to record lane and Simulcast bid amounts.
• Enter customer data and process all sold units.
• Verify and enter lights.
• Work with auctioneer virtually to ensure accurate representation of vehicle information.
• Verify vehicle run order to ensure appropriate vehicle is being keyed and sold.
• Operate monitor virtually and review Simulcast bids with auctioneer.
• Provide arbitration and other vehicle announcements to support auctioneer.
• Call and email on late titles.
• Utilize Salesforce for title absent support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
