About The Position

Penn State Altoona, a member of the NCAA Division III and Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference, is seeking a part-time Athletic Trainer. This is a temporary and an as needed position. The Athletic Trainer provides competition coverage and pregame preparation needs of the student-athletes; provide rehabilitation to injured student-athletes; and participate in annual professional development. Hours of expectation will be mainly evenings and weekends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher (Master's degree preferred).
• Two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• BOC Certified Athletic Trainer.
• PA State Licensed Athletic Training.
• Certified Health Care Provider (CPR/AED).

Responsibilities

• Provide competition coverage and pregame preparation for student-athletes.
• Rehabilitate injured student-athletes.
• Participate in annual professional development.
