The Part-time Associate Program Director will work primarily on a grant project aimed at enhancing genetic counselor education. The successful candidate will assist with long-term planning and day-to-day operations related to the development, measurement, and reporting of novel continuing education programs. The candidate will work under the supervision of program leadership to assist in developing and disseminating modules, measuring their impact, and supporting the students and staff associated with the program.

  • Develop and regularly maintain and update course Canvas sites.
  • Coordinate lecture contracts.
  • Facilitate communication with instructors and students.
  • Prepare and submit IRB documentation.
  • Develop Redcap databases.
  • Prepare ongoing study reports.
  • Assist in planning student and professional events such as the Symposium and student graduation from ART-GC.
  • Summarize evaluation forms and maintain the genetic counseling database for the ART-GC program.
  • Provide staff and student support, maintaining budget documentation.
  • Convene author meetings, maintain reference lists, light editing, and facilitate manuscript submission.
  • Facilitate communication between the UPenn program and the four partnering institutions.
  • Participate in the monthly meetings.
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years of job-related experience required.
  • Master's in Genetic Counseling Degree with ABGC board certification strongly preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling.
  • Experience with Redcap is preferred.
