The Part-Time Associate (Overnight Load Crew) plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining store operations. This position involves stocking shelves, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining cleanliness and organization within the store. Associates are expected to assist customers, operate cash registers, and ensure that the store is well-stocked with fresh food and merchandise.

Maintain a store section as assigned and may order, receive and stock merchandise using proper equipment.
Assure proper pricing on merchandise and check product date codes to validate proper rotation.
Stock shelves, end displays, floor stacks, displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases.
Prepare perishable products for sale and set up advertising/promotional displays.
Review invoices/bills for accuracy and clean and maintain sanitation standards in all areas of the store and parking lot as directed by management.
Operate a cash register, receive payment from customers, and process transactions.
Process cash and/or credit refunds when approved by management and verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
Offer friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous assistance to customers.
Load customer purchases by assisting customers to their vehicles when requested.
Perform basic bookkeeping duties and record lost/damaged goods and store supplies.

Ability to read and write English and interact with the general public and co-workers.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
