About The Position
General Description Day positions available on WCJC Wharton Campus beginning in the Spring 2026 academic term. The permanent responsibility of a faculty member is to provide the most effective instruction possible in his/her discipline. Supervision is received from appropriate supervisor. The faculty member works to insure that his/her instruction is meeting the educational needs of students.
Requirements
- Master's Degree or Doctorate, preferably in Nursing. If Master's Degree is in a discipline other than Nursing, must hold Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and minimum of six graduate hours in Nursing.
- A valid, unencumbered TX Nursing License or privilege to practice is also required.
- A criminal background check is required.
- Copies of college/university transcript(s) showing nursing coursework and degree(s) conferred
- Curriculum Vitae/Resume outlining nursing work and/or teaching experience
- Copy of current unencumbered Registered Nurse License issued by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas
