About The Position

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part Time Childcare Teacher to join our team. As an Assistant Childcare Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in our care. You will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children in a child care setting (preferred)
• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
• Must pass a background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Create a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care
• Help plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development
• Observe and document children's progress and development
• Communicate with parents and guardians about their child's progress and development
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in our care
• Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities
