About The Position

The Assistant Baseball Coach will assist the Head Baseball Coach with the overall oversight of the day-to-day operations of the baseball team. This position is a Technical/Professional role and is paid with a supplement as per the Santa Fe College Salary Schedule .

Requirements

• Associates degree OR (2) two years of directly related experience, including coaching, or playing baseball at the college or professional level AND (2) two years of experience of coaching baseball at the high school, college, club or equivalent level.
• A criminal background check will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach with sport-specific instruction, team conditioning, game strategy, facility upkeep, equipment organization, recruiting of prospects, and travel to away/games during the sport playing season.
• Ability to demonstrate the skills necessary to teach baseball.
• Provide service excellence through courteous, informed, accessible, and professional engagement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
