As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol in Seattle, WA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $27.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 08:45 AM - 04:15 PM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

• A Concealed Carry Weapons Permit is required.
• 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response guidelines at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high-traffic spaces, verifying credentials and observing for unusual behavior, suspicious activity, and/or potential security-related issues.
• Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a professional presence, preparing accurate reports, and communicating clearly with site contacts, employees, and first responders when appropriate.
