As an Airport Shuttle Driver, you will provide efficient and friendly service and have the responsibility of ensuring our passengers, crew and luggage are transported safely between the terminal and aircraft.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 18.
• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
• Possess a valid, unexpired and unsuspended state commercial driver’s license; some license restrictions may prohibit a candidate from being considered for this role.
• Active USDOT medical certification.
• Current Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) medical certificate is required, where applicable.
• Must be able to carry, bend, lift and turn with bags weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Willing and able to work rotating shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating days off.
• Flexible to work additional hours with short notice when operationally necessary.
• Possess the legal right to work in the United States.
• Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
• One year of previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous working experience transporting passengers preferred.
• Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand Spanish (in some locations) preferred.
• Must be able to perform all duties under sometimes stressful conditions beyond the employee's control while attempting to influence a favorable impression of American Eagle, American Airlines or any other contracted airline service provided by Envoy.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision, report to work regularly and on-time, and be self-motivated.
• Must be able to successfully clear both a non-DOT/DOT pre-employment drug screening and driving history check in accordance to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and friendly service to passengers, crew, and luggage.
• Operate shuttle vehicles in various weather and visibility conditions.
• Drive shuttles in areas congested with aircraft, as well as moving and stationary vehicles and equipment.
• Transport passengers and luggage safely between the terminal and aircraft.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
