The Regal Chess School Miami is seeking a Part-Time After School Program Lead Instructor for the upcoming fall semester. This role involves facilitating chess clubs at various schools and locations throughout the Miami Metropolitan area. With 28 years of experience in providing chess education, we are dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging environment for youth to learn the fundamentals of chess. The ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge of chess and a passion for teaching, as we will provide training on our specific curriculum. The position is designed to be flexible, allowing for 1-5 hours of work per week, primarily during after-school hours. Morning sessions may also be available, making it a great opportunity for those looking for supplemental income while working with children. As a Lead Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching the basics of chess to students in our clubs, which typically last about one hour each day. The clubs are held at various local venues, including parochial schools, public schools, community centers, churches, and libraries. We are looking for reliable, professional individuals who enjoy working with kids and can commit to the entire semester from August to December. Candidates should have reliable transportation and be available to work during weekdays, primarily after school hours. We provide background checks and youth protection training to ensure a safe environment for our students.
