About The Position

The position provides comprehensive administrative support to the program at the Ozarks Public Health Institute. This includes a variety of tasks such as reception services, scheduling appointments and meetings, organizing travel, and managing documentation. The role is essential in helping the program achieve its mission and ensuring smooth operations through effective administrative practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support to the program by providing reception services, scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel, filing, researching files and records, and preparing and proofreading correspondence, reports, and other documents as requested.
  • Helps the program achieve its mission by performing processes related with the work of the program.
  • Supports the work of the program by maintaining an inventory of equipment and supplies, and utilizing the appropriate process to request purchases for the program.
  • Helps to organize and program events by securing space, equipment, food, preparing invitations, announcements, agendas, brochures, and packets, purchasing awards, making travel arrangements and reservations, and assisting with the event as it occurs.
  • Supports the administrative business functions of the program by creating communication, maintaining and updating the program's project management software, maintaining the program's database and website as requested, verifying student worker and GA time sheets, scheduling conference rooms, and maintaining security of equipment, files, and records.
  • Supports the program with grant deliverable documentation, monitoring and reporting, as directed by the supervisor.
  • Contributes to a work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with persons of diverse cultures, values, perceptions, and backgrounds.
  • Remains competent and current by attending professional development courses, software training classes, and courses and/or training sessions as directed by the supervisor or required by the University.
  • Supports the program by performing all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
