Requirements

  • High school diploma or educational equivalent required.
  • Prior office experience preferred.
  • Must be proficient in computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, Microsoft Office applications, calendar, and email and/or database software necessary to perform work assignments.
  • Must have a professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Detail oriented and time management skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in business administration or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all clients and ensure they sign in to the program on the sign-in sheet.
  • Assist new clients with the intake process, collecting necessary paperwork, and ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Collect fees for co-payments and self-pay for treatment services and track payment history.
  • Answer, screen, and direct phone calls and respond to all voicemails.
  • Schedule appointments and answer correspondence for Program Director and other staff.
  • Assist in entering information into OASAS and/or AWARDS databases.
  • Responsible for verifying Medicaid and Managed Care insurance through epaces and commercial plan websites at the time of the initial screening for each client.
  • Pre-screen and check-in clients for all treatment services.
  • Receive clients, visitors, and vendors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and a courteous and welcoming environment.
  • Protect client health information and adhere to state and federal confidentiality mandates.
  • Assist in managing appointments with the psychiatrist and nurse practitioner.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory of office supplies and submit purchase order requisitions.
  • Perform all other relevant duties as determined by Supervision and EAC NETWORK Administration.
