Savannah Technical College is continuously seeking qualified candidates for adjunct faculty teaching positions. Adjunct faculty positions are temporary, part-time positions of employment appointed on a per academic term basis. Day and Evening hours available. Qualifications for instructional positions include a minimum of three years' full-time work experience in the discipline taught and educational background specific to the courses/programs. Formal teaching certification is not required. Limited instructional opportunities are available in the Industrial Technology Division for candidates who possess an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree and/or appropriate licensure in the teaching discipline or a related field. However, preference will be given to candidates with a Master's Degree. All academic credentials must be granted by an accredited college or university. In addition to education and work experience, some positions may also require active licensure or certification specific to the field. Compensation is commensurate with academic preparation and experience. Most program areas experience occasional rotation of adjunct instructors.
