About The Position

The Wadsworth Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at West Virginia University (WVU) invites applications for part-time instructor positions to support its program mission. In particular, the candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas are highly desirable: Environmental Engineering and Water Resources (e.g., air pollution and control, solid and hazardous waste management, wastewater engineering, etc.), Construction Management, Geotechnical Engineering, and Transportation Engineering.

Requirements

  • Earned doctorate in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or a closely related discipline at the time of appointment.
  • MS degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited university with 3+ years of experience will also be considered.
  • Active research experience in their area of expertise.
  • Academic publications in relevant fields.

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in advising/mentoring doctoral students.

Responsibilities
