About The Position

Savannah Technical College is continuously seeking qualified candidates for part time/adjunct faculty teaching positions. Adjunct faculty positions are temporary, part-time positions of employment appointed on a per academic term basis. Day and evening hours available; duties may involve split teaching shifts or routine travel between campus locations.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years' full-time work experience in the discipline taught.
• Educational background specific to the courses/programs.
• Master's Degree in the field or a related field with at least 18 semester hours in the subject to be taught for most Associate Degree programs.
• All academic credentials must be granted by an accredited college or university.

Nice To Haves

• Formal teaching certification (not required but preferred).

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in the assigned discipline.
• Prepare course materials and assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress.
• Participate in departmental meetings and activities.
