About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic individual to serve as a part-time Assistant in our Activities Department. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in planning, organizing, and facilitating a variety of recreational activities tailored to the interests and needs of senior residents - Support the Activities Director in creating a lively, inclusive, and engaging environment - Foster a positive and motivating atmosphere that encourages participation and social interaction - Provide recreational therapy activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being - Help coordinate special events, outings, and celebrations - Maintain a safe and respectful environment for all residents and staff Skills and Qualifications: - Previous experience in activities coordination, recreational therapy, or a related field preferred - Genuine passion for working with seniors and enhancing their quality of life - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Creative, energetic, and able to motivate others - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Flexibility to work Thursday through Sunday - Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents’ needs At Tuscan Gardens, we pride ourselves on fostering a warm, welcoming community that values growth, compassion, and excellence. Requirements

  • Previous experience in activities coordination, recreational therapy, or a related field preferred
  • Genuine passion for working with seniors and enhancing their quality of life

  • Flexibility to work Thursday through Sunday
