About The Position
The Outdoor Pro Shop is seeking a part-time Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our small, family-owned fishing store located in Rohnert Park/Cotati. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our financial records, ensuring accuracy in our bookkeeping, and providing insights into our financial health. We currently utilize QuickBooks for our accounting needs, and familiarity with this software is essential for the role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, as well as experience in managing accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and financial reporting. In this position, you will work closely with the store owner to maintain accurate financial records, prepare monthly financial statements, and assist in budgeting and forecasting. Your role will also involve reconciling bank statements, managing inventory accounting, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently while also being a team player. This is a part-time position, and we are flexible with hours to accommodate your schedule.
