About The Position
The College of Information Sciences and Technology (IST) invites applications for a part-time academic appointment to teach in person at University Park Campus for Fall 2025 semester. Job duties to include teaching one or more of the following courses: IST 140: Introduction to Application Development (Python) IST 242: Intermediate and Object-Oriented Application Development (Python) IST 256: Programming for the Web IST 261: Application Development Design Studio I HCDD 311: Object-Oriented Design and Software Applications HCDD 411: Distributed Object Computing HCDD 412: The Engineering of Complex Software Systems Please refer to College of IST course descriptions for more complete information.
Requirements
- Applicants must possess a master's degree or equivalent experience and education
- Be committed to teaching learners at all levels and from all backgrounds
Nice To Haves
- Prior teaching experience
- Professional experience in a relevant area
