About The Position

Teach lecture and/or lab courses in Electrical Technology during the 2025-2026 academic year. Adjunct faculty are expected to embrace the use of technology as it relates to teaching, demonstrate flexibility to meet the needs of students, and work effectively in a team-centered environment. Instructional areas may include: Code Study and Wiring Lab, Motor Controls, PLCs, and Drives, Instrumentation and Automation, Electrical theory and applied math.

Requirements

• Must support the mission, vision, and values of NDSCS
• Two-year degree in Electrical Technology or related area OR equivalent education and experience
• Relevant work experience in electrical field
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Computer and technology literacy
• Ability to function in a team environment
• Flexibility to teach students of varying abilities

Nice To Haves

• Associate in applied science in Electrical Technology or related field
• Journeyman license or higher
• Industry experience in commercial and residential wiring and codes
• Industry experience in instrumentation and process controls
• Industry experience in electronics/home and building automation
• Industry experience in electric motor controls and drives
• Industry experience in renewable energy systems
• Prior teaching or training experience
