About The Position

Penn State Mont Alto has Part-Time Adjunct Faculty openings in various disciplines. Subjects may include, but are not limited to: Anthropology, Criminal Justice, English (writing/composition), Finance, History, Intro Accounting, Intro Spanish, Math, Speech, Statistics, and Various Business Topics. Job Duties include teaching one to three undergraduate level courses (1-3 credits each; up to a maximum of 9 credits per semester) each spring and/or fall semester depending on expertise and needs. Additional duties may vary by assignment.

Requirements

• Masters or equivalent experience/qualifications required in the discipline for which you are applying.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Ph.D. preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching day, evening, or weekend classes.
• Experience with in-person and remote teaching.

Responsibilities

• Teach one to three undergraduate level courses each semester.
• Prepare course materials and deliver lectures.
• Assess student performance and provide feedback.
