Job Description Primary Location: Ogden, Utah PARTS COORDINATOR - Purchases, stores, and issues spare parts for plant and industrial equipment by performing the following duties. Monday - Friday 7 am to 3:30 pm Starting at $19.00, DOE

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
Previous experience strongly preferred.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Provide excellent customer service in a fast paced environment.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Responsibilities

Requisitions parts from approved vendors.
Reads shop manuals to ascertain type and specification of part.
Visits, telephones, telegraphs, or contacts vendors by mail to order parts.
Compares invoices against requisitions to verify quality and quantity of merchandise received.
Stores purchased parts in storeroom bins and issues parts to workers upon request.
Keeps records of parts received and issued, and inventories parts in storeroom periodically.
Wears and utilizes appropriate safety equipment.
Wears company provided uniform.
Completes all required Safety, Food Safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) training and demonstrates compliance on a continual basis.
Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
