Job Description Primary Location: Ogden, Utah PARTS COORDINATOR - Purchases, stores, and issues spare parts for plant and industrial equipment by performing the following duties. Monday - Friday 7 am to 3:30 pm Starting at $19.00, DOE

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • Previous experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Provide excellent customer service in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Responsibilities

  • Requisitions parts from approved vendors.
  • Reads shop manuals to ascertain type and specification of part.
  • Visits, telephones, telegraphs, or contacts vendors by mail to order parts.
  • Compares invoices against requisitions to verify quality and quantity of merchandise received.
  • Stores purchased parts in storeroom bins and issues parts to workers upon request.
  • Keeps records of parts received and issued, and inventories parts in storeroom periodically.
  • Wears and utilizes appropriate safety equipment.
  • Wears company provided uniform.
  • Completes all required Safety, Food Safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) training and demonstrates compliance on a continual basis.
  • Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
