About The Position
Acting independently as a member of the Reentry Operations management team, the Parole Agent III has broad responsibility for critical legislation and programs having a statewide impact on all segments of parole and community corrections-related program elements within the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. The incumbent has extensive latitude in acting as the Division of Adult Parole Operations (DAPO) Reentry Operations Liaison in communicating instructions and directions to the Division and field personnel. The PA III must possess in-depth knowledge, contributing to project success by providing expertise and insight by managing resources, coordinating cross-functional teams and monitoring progress. The incumbent must exercise a high degree of initiative, innovative problem solving, and independent judgement, working cooperatively with others. Travel and/or work activities outside normal working hours may be required due to operational need.
