This job level contains various positions including Kid Quarters Attendant, Marketing Assistant, Park Attendant, and Special Events Leader. Each role has specific responsibilities and requirements as outlined below.
Interact with children 12 and under by playing games, crafts, reading, etc. while parent(s) is/are in the facility (Kid Quarters Attendant)
Perform tasks relative to the department's marketing plan and strategies (Marketing Assistant)
Clean parks and assist park users during spring and summer (Park Attendant)
Work with the Supervisor in planning programs, activities, and special events; supervise staff and participants (Special Events Leader)
Must be at least 16 years old (or as specified)
Must be at least 18 years old for Marketing Assistant and Park Attendant
Must obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certification within 30 days of employment (Kid Quarters Attendant and Park Attendant)
Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds
Ability to demonstrate techniques and skills associated with the position
Creativity and basic skills required for Marketing Assistant
Advancement to step 1.5 will happen at six months of employment
Advancement to the next step will be considered after one year of employment, if a minimum of 125 hours have been worked and a satisfactory employee evaluation has been obtained
