  • Lead the design and construction of parks and facilities.
  • Prepare and review plans, drawings, specifications, and estimates.
  • Define scopes and design parameters for projects.
  • Evaluate land transactions and attend public hearings.
  • Assist in capital and long-range planning efforts.
  • Analyze systemwide assets using geographic information systems (GIS).
  • Oversee contractor work to ensure compliance with approved design and budget.
  • Prepare narratives, statistical and legislative reports, permits, grants, easements, and exhibits.
  • Participate on special project teams and drive community outreach efforts.
  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture required.
  • Five (5) years or more work experience in Landscape Architecture required.
  • State of Wisconsin Licensed Landscape Architect required within 6 months of employment.
  • Valid Driver's License at time of application, must obtain a valid Wisconsin Driver's License within 6 months of employment.
  • Experience with GIS (Geographic Information System) preferred.
  • AutoCAD experience preferred.
