About The Position

Under the general direction of the Director of Operations or their designee, the Park Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of environmentally sustainable initiatives and assisting in administrative tasks promoting our parks.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Occasional night and weekends required.
  • At time of appointment, possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Stamford parks.
  • Familiarity with geographic information system (GIS) technology and TreeKeeper software.
  • Familiarity with tree planting, restoration, and field work.
  • Experience in volunteer management.
