About The Position

The Automotive Truck Mechanic position is part of the Fleet Services department and involves performing a variety of semi-skilled and skilled work in maintaining County vehicles and trucks. The role requires certification in Automotive Services of Excellence (ASE).

Requirements

• 6 months+ training beyond High School
• 1 to 3 years' experience
• Valid SC Driver's License with CDL class endorsement, or ability to obtain one
• Welding experience required
• Certified in Automotive Services of Excellence (ASE) or ability to obtain ASE certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on County vehicles and trucks.
• Conduct semi-skilled and skilled work in vehicle maintenance.
