About The Position

The Parkour Coach position is an integral part of the camper's experience, providing a dynamic platform that is unmatched. You will execute and support all aspects of the program, including overall curriculum and appropriate use of facilities. The goal is to ensure a high level of training and progression, making sure campers are engaged and participating in a responsible manner. The Parkour Zone Coach position will be responsible for the safety, vibe, and cleanliness of the Action Sports facilities around camp. Zone Coaches will be responsible for one (1) or more Action Sports facilities per Zone Coach shift. Zone Coaches need to make sure campers are acting responsibly and respectfully to others and using the facility in a safe manner. They will be responsible for upholding energy within the park and for the cleanliness of the facility. The Parkour Counselor will be in collaboration with coaching and is responsible for the safety, health, and well-being of all campers within assigned cabin throughout the day and from the time they return to the cabin for the evening to when campers are released to instruction the following morning. They will be responsible for assisting campers with any needs or challenges that arise during the week, referring to department leads as needed. This role provides you with the ability to connect with the campers outside of the park setting, and enhance the overall experience.

Requirements

• FBI and DOJ fingerprint screening required.
• CPR Certification.
• Comfortable working in an outdoor and indoor all-season environment.
• Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations, and guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of experience working with kids and/or teens.
• Experience working in a camp environment.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Experience in action sports coaching.
• Health and Safety Certifications.
• Well-spoken and articulate over the phone, through written contact, and in person.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate supervision.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable handling confidential information.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with diverse groups of people.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support all aspects of the Parkour program.

• Monitor camper behavior to ensure responsible and respectful use of facilities.
• Uphold energy within the park.
• Assist campers with needs or challenges during the week.
