About The Position

Supports the Supervisor of Parking & Transit / Photo ID by answering the phones, staffing the offices for the posted operating hours which currently are Monday through Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm. Must work independently and effectively. Must have great customer service skills. Must be a strong, effective verbal and written communicator. Assist individuals with parking, transportation, and photo ID needs. EEO/AA/Disability/Veteran

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required. Must have technical computer database management skills.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of parking experience in a large parking operation. Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally. Computer literacy required. Demonstrates the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook is a must), electronic spreadsheets and database management software packages. Working knowledge of parking control systems.
  • High level of customer service skills, multi-tasking is a must. Ability to work well with others. Must be polite and friendly. Demonstrates the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Extensive sitting, typing, and viewing computer monitors. Must have a clean criminal background.

Responsibilities

  • Answers directly to the Supervisor of Parking & Transit / Photo ID
  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of Parking & Transit / Photo ID
  • Answers phone and directs callers accordingly
  • Assists walk-ins regarding parking, transportation, and photo ID needs.
  • Helps to ensure the offices are open during normal business hours which currently are 7:30am - 4:00pm
  • Maintain accurate and updated information in the Parking & Transit / Photo ID systems
  • Maintain a positive, polite, and friendly attitude when dealing with the public.
  • Assist and attend New Employee Orientation, NEO, for the purpose of assigning and distributing new employee parking assignments.
  • Conduct payroll/parking audits when requested by the Supervisor of Parking & Transit / Photo ID.
  • Receives payment for employee parking and maintains accurate financial accounting of the same.
