Responsible for the daily operations, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: enforcement, review systems and determine towing decisions, staff scheduling and notifications, event preparations and execution, court documentation prep/appearances, pay station collections/alerts resolved, lockouts, coordination of maintenance of parking facilities and lots, ensure availability of parking supplies, equipment maintained and ready for use, roadside assistance, compile and evaluate operational statistics, develop and maintain field procedures, administrative tasks/reports, and assume responsibilities of the front line staff when necessary. Review and update parking system data, citation locations, LPR zones for changes, etc. Responsible for supervision and oversight of event field staff including determining and scheduling staffing levels to support the events, coordinating assignments and temporary staff resources, ensuring all event staff is trained, and provide on sight event management for all event types. Complete ICS 204 operations forms, ensure event details, logistical support such as set-up, breakdowns, posting of closures, completing event after-action reports, and updating events in the system. Provide data and input for post-event assessment and provide recommendations for improvements to operational processes. Supervise staff and ensure staff are meeting expectations, address issues in accordance with established policies and procedures, provide training/cross-training, and provide leadership and guidance to staff. Monitor staff performance to include field observations and review of available data and systems ensuring consistent decision-making. Ensure rules are applied, research of plates/checking in field for possible offenders is managed and collect and analyze data from special projects. Manage ADA collection and follow up research, fire lanes, system occupancy counts, voids, staff blackboard, and procedures review/update; responding /scheduling lots for non-event closures or construction projects; responding to requests for parking information or changes needed, coordinate spring and summer maintenance- supplies ordered, work orders submitted, priorities met. Handle personnel issues to include uniform attire, equipment accountability, safety, restricted/winter/summer leave schedules, recruitment, hiring, motivation and train, feedback, counseling, evaluations, etc. Other duties as assigned to include assuming responsibilities and working shifts of the other supervisors in their absence, assisting with the needs of the other sections in the department, assist management with special projects, etc.
