About The Position

The Parking Services Worker is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient flow of vehicle traffic on campus, maintaining parking compliance, and providing a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. This position requires demonstrating the competencies and behaviors needed to provide premier customer satisfaction, maintain punctual attendance, and support the core values, vision, and mission of Rochambeau.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of standard parking policies and procedures
  • Ability to quickly learn campus geography (streets, lots, and structures)
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively under pressure or in stressful situations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle situations with diplomacy and tact
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact and communicate respectfully and effectively with students and staff members in a cooperative manner
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of information
  • Regular, predictable, and reliable attendance at work
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and have reliable transportation to and from work
  • Demonstrate a commitment to Rochambeau's vision, mission, values, and strategic aims
  • Three Professional References (name, position, contact number and email) listed on your CV/resume

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual fluency in French and English desired
  • Experience in a private, international, or school setting is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Direct vehicle traffic and patrol assigned areas to ensure compliance with school parking procedures and maintain a safe environment
  • Maintain communication with dispatch and school staff using two-way radios or mobile phones
  • Promptly repor t information regarding incidents, safety concerns, or emergencies to the appropriate personnel
  • Identify vehicles in violation of parking codes and monitor the campus for suspicious objects or unauthorized vehicles
  • Develop and maintain positive public relations by interacting with staff, parents, and visitors with courtesy and tact
  • Work well with others and function as a strong team player
  • Perform other related/additional duties and tasks as assigned
