About The Position

The position's primary purpose is to provide cashiering, customer service and to assume tasks related to various Parking activities. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Possession of a valid and current State of Illinois driver's license.
• No record of conviction of a felony or a crime involving moral turpitude.

Responsibilities

• Accept payments from parkers for designated rates set by UIC Parking Services.
• Reconcile cash receipts with tickets to assure appropriate revenue has been accepted.
• Assist in addressing issues related to devices and equipment in the lots.
• Provide customer service by assisting users in locating vehicles and using equipment.
• Perform routine surveillance of assigned Parking facilities.
• Enforce all Campus Parking Services policies and rules as directed.
• Assist with traffic control during special events or high traffic volume.
• Report any facility conditions that need repair or maintenance.
• Assist with meter collections and various collections of fees.
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as emptying trash and vacuuming.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
