About The Position

The Cashier supports Premium Parking’s mission of providing great places for people to park by delivering accurate revenue collection, exceptional guest service, and consistent operational support. This role ensures a smooth parking experience by assisting guests, processing payments, maintaining clean and organized work areas, and upholding all operational standards. Available Shifts: 5:00pm-9:00pm some morning and afternoon shifts

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Must be able to stand, walk and/or sit for an extended period of time
  • Able to see details at close range
  • Able to arrange things in a pattern or according to a specific set of rules
  • Must be able to complete repetitive motions, such as waving a flag
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds
  • Exposure to all weather conditions, including but not limited to: rain, cold, heat, and humidity

Nice To Haves

  • Valid Driver’s License preferred
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred
  • A minimum of 6 months of work experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and provide clear, friendly assistance regarding parking, payment, or general questions.
  • Resolve concerns professionally and escalate issues when needed to ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Maintain a polished, professional presence and represent Premium Parking’s commitment to exceptional service.
  • Accurately compute, collect, and account for all forms of parking revenue.
  • Verify and maintain starting bank; complete end-of-shift reports, deposit logs, and daily checklists.
  • Collect and process payments for monthly parking accounts as needed.
  • Maintain an organized workstation, including keys, tickets, and location-specific materials.
  • Keep cashier and parking areas clean and orderly, including sweeping, wiping surfaces, and emptying trash as required.
  • Ensure signage is clean, properly displayed, and updated as needed.
  • Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or facility maintenance needs immediately to supervisory staff.
  • Account for all vehicles on the lot and verify proper parking credentials or tickets.
  • Conduct overnight audits to ensure accurate documentation of keys, vehicles, and revenues.
  • Complete end-of-day checklists and prepare materials for the following day
